Yoga Therapy for Individuals. Yoga therapy is the application of postures, mindfulness techniques and philosophy practiced in yoga as a means for empowering an individual’s progress toward improved health of body, mind and spirit. Individuals are guided through a personalized series of supported postures – often passive or mildly active – along with mindful awareness cues and breathing techniques essential for wellbeing and personal growth. Yoga therapy is an excellent compliment to allopathic care for most physical and mental health related challenges.

Yoga Therapy for Partners or Couples. Relationships are a dynamic part of life. In a yoga therapy session together, platonic partners and romantic couples alike learn how to identify both the individual and shared somatic experiences that show up in the body while in relationship. The driving focus of this session is to collect valuable insight from the individual experience first, then identify a common goal and therapeutic strategies for moving toward that goal together.

Yoga Privates. Yoga privates are personalized 1:1 yoga instruction designed to support your home or studio yoga practice and goals. Yoga privates support the advancement of sound yoga postures (asana) and yoga breathing techniques (pranayama) catered to your personal needs. A yoga private session will give you the confidence and skills needed to overcome any challenges faced and progress toward personal yoga goals.

Ayurvedic Yoga Consultation. Ayurveda (ayur = “life” and veda = “study of” in Sanskrit) is the sister practice to yoga postures and breathing. Ayurveda believes all of life has three main dosha (“derangement”) energies – vata, pitta and kapha – that can throw off balance or bring back balance. Lifestyle habits, environment and the unexpected can trigger imbalance in the body, leading to stress, ailment and dis-ease. An ayurvedic yoga consultation assesses your dosha constitution and incorporates yoga postures and ayurvedic philosophy to create a personalized yoga practice that supports your journey toward balance and ease.

Breathwork Coaching. The average human only uses about 10-20% of their full lung capacity with each breath. This means 80-90% of our lung capacity is an underutilized potential for advancing personal health in immunity, brain cognition, stress reduction, inflammation response, nervous system, psychology and more. In a breathwork session, yoga breathing exercises (pranayama) and other similar modern applications such as Resonance Frequency Breathing are applied. You’ll be guided and coached through the qualities of dynamic breathing and learn how to access your greatest breathing potential. This is a 60-minute session.

Appointments are either 60 or 90 minutes and are held either at Tadasana Mountain Yoga in Nederland, Colorado, or online in the comfort of your own home, depending on the session type and personal preference.
